Hooray for Comic-Con trailers!
Sunday, July 23, 2017Yay, it's trailer time! Courtesy of San Diego and everything that's going on over there, we get to enjoy all the upcoming film goodness from the comfort of our own homes. Ok, there are a lot of superhero-related clips to get through, but there's also new TV too - Westworld is one I'm particularly excited for. And let's not forget THE LEGO NINJAGO MOVIE (starring Jackie Chan cos they rejected my audition).
Thor: Ragnarok
Apparently 80% of this is improvised. Bring it on.
Justice League
Ok DC, let's see your ensemble film. I'm ready for lots of slow-mo shots and the return of Wonder Woman kick-ass stuff.
Marvel's The Defenders
DC, Marvel sees your ensemble piece and raises you one that can be binge-watched. Expect a grittier series that is only a few weeks away.
Stranger Things Season 2
I never watched Stranger Things but you probably do so...you're welcome.
Westworld Season 2
I mean, this is a very happy song to play against a very dark trailer.
The LEGO® Ninjago® Movie
Do we need to copy these R circles every time? Yep. But it does star Jackie Chan who oughta be a registered trademark too.
Ready Player One
Ooh yay, a new film. This is from 'cinematic game changer' Steven Spielberg that videogame players should be particularly hyped for. Personally, I'm thinking a bit of TRON and a bit of Wreck It Ralph..
And last but not least, no YouTube trailer for Avengers: Infinity War, but they've released this concept art poster which is pretty epic. Also, the trailer has leaked on Twitter (I have goosebumps!) but I expect they'll release it officially soon enough. Feast your eyes upon this!
